Our Founder
Hello again. This is my website. It is born out of sentimentality and love for New Mexico. I say sentimentality because the name "the Blue-Eyed Indian" is a nickname given to my late husband. We had a bookstore and that was what we called it. When he decided to close it, I couldn't let go of the name and have found ways to hang on to it for about twenty years. So now you have that.
Our Travel Experts
I am also the "travel expert". I am still searching for New Mexico, as the website title states. I fell in love with the state's beauty, its mixed culture and history, the fact that this is a haven for artists, and so on. Those attributes caused me to move here from California, as quickly as I could. So, I hope I can answer a few of your questions about what New Mexico has to offer.
